Portable Power Stations (EcoFlow)

Plug-and-play battery for renters, small homes or one critical load. An inlet or transfer switch lets it run real circuits.

Signs you need it

  • You rent
  • A CPAP, fridge or router must run in an outage
  • Backup without a big install
  • Something you can take camping

How the install goes

  1. Size it for the loads that matter
  2. Optional inlet box or transfer switch for house circuits
  3. Solar charging, if you have panels
  4. Show you the routine

What moves the price

  • Whole-home backup or essentials only
  • Generator kW, or battery kWh and unit count
  • Gas line (by a licensed plumber) and concrete pad
  • Transfer switch or gateway type, and where it mounts
  • Tying in existing solar
  • Permit fees, plus utility interconnection for batteries

Permits for backup power

Generators and batteries need a permit and inspection. Batteries add a utility interconnection application, approved at the utility's pace. We file it, line up gas work, and itemize the fees.

Backup power questions

Can a portable backup battery run my whole house?

No, it's for essentials. For the whole house, look at a standby generator or home battery.

Do you sell portable backup batteries?

Yes. We supply one or install the one you bought.

Do you charge for the quote?

No. An electrician looks at the job in person and quotes it, free.
