Whole-Home Rewire

New wiring, devices and panel, planned so you can stay home.

Signs your panel or wiring needs attention

  • Knob and tube, aluminum or cloth-covered wire
  • Ungrounded outlets throughout
  • Repairs keep popping up room to room
  • A big remodel already has the walls open

How the job goes, start to finish

  1. Walk and map every circuit, outlet and fixture
  2. Go room by room so power stays where you need it
  3. Rewire, add circuits, install AFCI, GFCI and new devices
  4. Patch, inspect, label everything

Panel and wiring questions

How long does a whole-house rewire usually take?

About one to two weeks for a typical 1,800 square foot home.

Do I have to move out during a rewire?

Usually not. We keep bedrooms and the kitchen working overnight.

Do you charge for the quote?

No. An electrician looks at the job in person and quotes it, free.
