Critter Guard Installation

Pigeons and squirrels love it under panels. A mesh guard evicts them.

Signs your system needs help

  • Birds moving in under the panels
  • Droppings on the roof and panels
  • Chewed wire or sagging output
  • Scratching on the roof at dawn

How a service visit goes

  1. Clear out nests and debris
  2. Wrap the array's edges in mesh
  3. Find and fix chewed wiring
  4. Wash the panels while we're up there

What moves the price

  • Inverter, wiring, panels or monitoring
  • Roof access and panel count
  • Parts still under manufacturer warranty
  • Remove and reinstall: array size, roofer's schedule

Permits for solar work

Repairs usually skip the permit. Inverter swaps, remove-and-reinstall and added equipment typically need one, and some changes go to your utility. Fees are on the quote.

Solar service questions

Will a critter guard damage my solar panels?

No. It clips to the frame, no drilling.

Do you remove the birds or squirrels?

No. We clear nests and debris; live animals go to a wildlife service.

Do you charge for the visit?

Repairs start with a flat diagnostic fee, quoted when you book and waived on any repair over $500. Quotes for installs and upgrades are free.
