Signs it's more than a fluke
- An outlet, switch or light just quit
- A breaker that refuses to reset
- A warm cover plate or a burning smell
- Lights dim when the AC or dryer kicks on
What we do when we get there
- Listen: what you noticed, and where
- Test panel and device for the real fault
- Show you the problem and what the fix costs
- Fix it, test each affected circuit, clean up
What moves the price
- One device, or wiring inside the walls
- Access: attic, crawlspace, or drywall to open and patch
- Age and type of your wiring and panel
- Whether a permit is required
- Parts: same-for-same, or upgraded to current code
Permits for repair work
Like-for-like repairs usually skip permits. Panel swaps, new circuits and inspection fixes usually need one.

Repair questions we hear a lot
Can you usually fix it in one visit?
Often, yes. Common parts ride on the truck. Ordered parts mean a return trip.
What if the problem is inside the wall?
We trace the circuit to the fault before cutting anything, and patch what we open.
Do you charge for the visit?
Repairs start with a flat diagnostic fee, quoted when you book and waived on any repair over $500. Quotes for installs and upgrades are free.
