Light Fixture & Ceiling Fan Repair

Wobbly fans, dead fixtures, flaky switches. Fixed, with a box that holds the weight.

Signs it's more than a fluke

  • A fan that wobbles or clicks
  • Flicker even with new bulbs
  • A dead fan remote
  • A fixture on a box that isn't fan-rated

What we do when we get there

  1. Check the box, mount and wiring above
  2. Repair or replace the fixture or fan
  3. Add a fan-rated brace box if missing
  4. Balance the fan, test every speed and the light

What moves the price

  • One device, or wiring inside the walls
  • Access: attic, crawlspace, or drywall to open and patch
  • Age and type of your wiring and panel
  • Whether a permit is required
  • Parts: same-for-same, or upgraded to current code

Permits for repair work

Like-for-like repairs usually skip permits. Panel swaps, new circuits and inspection fixes usually need one.

Repair questions we hear a lot

Can you install a ceiling fan where there's only a light?

Yes. We add a fan-rated brace box and switching if needed.

Do you supply light fixtures?

Either. We hang yours or supply one and put it on the quote.

Do you charge for the visit?

Repairs start with a flat diagnostic fee, quoted when you book and waived on any repair over $500. Quotes for installs and upgrades are free.
